SMS/Text Messaging

The Sudbury Historical Society (SHS) uses SMS text messaging for individual, non-promotional correspondence relating to historical research inquiries, museum visits, appointments, and similar requests.

Individuals may initiate SMS conversations by sending a text message to the Society's registered SMS number. SHS responds to those inquiries and related follow-up questions. SMS correspondence is limited to the requested conversation and is not used for mass marketing messages or recurring promotional campaigns.

SHS may collect mobile phone numbers, text message correspondence, and records of SMS consent to provide and manage these communications.

Message frequency varies based on individual correspondence. Message and data rates may apply.
