Deep South Trip 2003

In 2002, 36 Lincoln-Sudbury students and 4 faculty embarked on a trip through the Deep South. The purpose of the trip was to find and follow the trail of the Civil Rights Movement, to speak to some who had been involved in it, and to see a part of the country most New Englanders never do. By the time we had completed the trip, we had traveled almost 1500 miles, through five states, two times zones, and several states of mind. This cyber photo album documents our journey, what we saw and found.
