On September 11th, 2001, America came under a terrorist attack that killed over 3,000 people including three Sudbury residents. Dedicated on September 11, 2003, the Sudbury September 11th Memorial honors all those who died on September 11, 2001 including Sudbury residents Geoffrey Cloud, Peter Goodrich and Cora Holland.
Erected by a dedicated group of Sudbury residents, the center stone of the monument is Sudbury granite on which bronze plaques honoring those lost have been mounted. May visitors find peace and comfort as they walk through the garden, sit on the benches and reflect on the town's loss.
